This series expresses the worldview of social media, such as hashtags and hearts during live streams.
By picking up hashtags trending on social media around the world on the day of production, these works express the transience and emptiness of the social media world through fleeting, so-called topical subjects that exist only in that moment.
Since L4K3 is an Italian brand this time, all the hashtags were created using hashtags that trended in Italy.
By recreating the visual language of the digital space called social media on canvas, it questions the way communication exists in modern society.
By expressing hashtags that reflect ever-changing trends using stencil techniques, it brings to light the emptiness behind the glamour of social media.
The work captures a moment as if it were a slice of a smartphone screen, depicting a complex modern society where digital and analog, reality and fiction intersect.
