HISTORY
[L4K3] was born in 2009 at Lake Iseo in Lombardy, northern Italy.
Rope making began in the 1400s on Monte Isola (Monte Island), which floats on Lake Iseo, and the techniques have been passed down to the present day.
[L4K3] interacted with professional divers from all over the world visiting Lake Iseo, and started producing bags and shoes using the fabric (neoprene material) of their diving suits.
[L4K3] products are designed by combining traditional rope and neoprene materials.
The L4K3 (Lake) neoprene bag, which uses "nautical rope" and "neoprene material", which is also a symbol of the brand, is currently sold only in Japan.
PRODUCTNautical Rope
The ropes are made using the same traditional manufacturing method as at the time, and the slow-moving machines used at the time are also used.
Most rope manufacturers in recent years are required to be able to mass produce in a short period of time, but nautical ropes lose luster and strength due to fast production.
In order to make a lustrous and strong rope, it is necessary to produce it at a reasonable speed, and by using the machines of the time, which are hardly left today, we have achieved an unparalleled quality that cannot be reproduced elsewhere. .
In addition, as a final process, we pass our uniquely developed vaporized material through every corner of the nylon rope, making it possible to create a rope with even greater strength.
This detailed work process, which other companies do not do, makes the ropes made in Monte Island the highest quality in the world.
Monte Island nautical ropes are also used for luxury boats and international regatta sports where high quality is required.
It has also been selected as the highest quality rope for goal nets used in Serie A and Champions League.
neoprene material
Lake Iseo is known as one of the most difficult diving spots in Europe, and professional divers from all over the world come to try to break the Guinness World Record.
For many years, we have interacted with the famous diving team of Lake Iseo, and at the beginning of the brand, we started producing bags and shoes using neoprene material, named after the fabric of their diving suits.
Together with local professional divers who support professional divers, this fabric has become a symbol of L4K3 (Lake) while exploring fabrics and connecting with various companies.
Improvements have been made to the invisible poly material attached to the back of the neoprene fabric used in this fabric, and this fabric has succeeded in making the embossing more vivid.
This special embossing that cannot be achieved with normal neoprene fabrics on the market, and such a high-performance padding fabric is used for the back of the durable fabric.
