ABOUT L4K3
[L4K3] was born in 2009
at Lake Iseo in Lombardy,
northern Italy.
On Monte Isola (Monte Island),
which floats on Lake Iseo, rope-making began in the 1400s,
and that craftsmanship has been passed down to the present day.
Through [L4K3]'s connections with
professional divers visiting Lake Iseo from around the world,
the brand began producing
bags and shoes made with neoprene,
the material used for diving suits.
[L4K3] products are designed
using traditional rope and neoprene materials.
L4K3's Journey
In 2009, the brand "L4K3" was born
on Lake Iseo in Italy.
L4K3 began with a "bracelet" made from ropes that had gone unused in a warehouse on Monte Isola.
Since 2019, the brand has been available in Japan
with shoes and bracelets.
Later, drawing on its history of producing bags,
we became convinced that a bag collection using marine rope and embossed neoprene
would express the appeal of L4K3 even more strongly,
and proposed relaunching the bags from Japan to Italy.
In February 2020, the bag collection made its debut
as a Japan-exclusive line, and without being affected by COVID,
it was well received by the market and sales grew steadily.
It also attracted attention through features in fashion magazines,
placement at luxury resort hotels,
and use by professional golfers,
and in December 2023, expansion into Korea began.
Origin of L4K3
The brand name “L4K3” is derived from “LAKE,” meaning a lake.
Inspired by Lake Iseo in Lombardy, northern Italy,
it evokes the Italian breeze and the magnificent nature of Lake Iseo,
where one can spend quiet, unhurried, and refined moments.
That spirit is carried on in the name itself.
The numbers in the brand name, such as “4” and “3,”
represent the original meaning by replacing them with letters,
with “4 = A” and “3 = E,” respectively.

Through trial and error with various colors and patterns,
the carefully selected styles chosen by the designers captivate us.
