Gaku Igarashi　GAKU IGARASHI

GAKU IGARASHI is an artist based in Tokyo who, in recent years, has been actively creating work and holding several solo exhibitions a year in major cities across Japan. He is known for vivid, playful, childlike art centered on his colorful, gentle-touch "ELF" and "HAPPY PEOPLE" series.
His background, including studying in Sydney, Australia and experience as a childcare worker, influences his artistic approach. His works feature colorful, happy pieces that capture children’s innocence and creativity under the themes of LOVE, HAPPINESS, KINDNESS, and SMILE. IGARASHI’s motto, "Never forget kidzlike" (never forget your childlike spirit), reflects his dedication to preserving a sense of wonder and joy in his work.
GAKU IGARASHI’s distinctive style blends Western and Japanese influences, creating a body of work that is unique and instantly recognizable, appealing to both children and adults. He continues to grow through a wide range of activities, including participating in various exhibitions and live-painting sessions in Japan and abroad, and using his background in childcare to lead workshops for children.
